Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated in the United States seeks a Sales Associate to drive store sales through excellent customer service and product knowledge. You will promote the Design program, schedule home consultations, and follow the proven selling process to close and follow up with customers.

Training pays $16/hour for 2-6 weeks, with average annual earnings after training of $35,000–$55,000+ including base, bonus, and commission.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills to influence and build rapport.
• Persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage time and priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Drives sales and helps meet store goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.
• Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to meet Design sales goals.
• Execute the La-Z-Boy selling process to provide a positive customer experience.
• Schedule home consultations to present customized room designs and fabric samples.
• Manage orders, deposits, fees, payments and deliveries with accuracy.
• Maintain store merchandising, displays and cleanliness.
• Open and close the store and support after-sale service.
