Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a Crane & Rigging Sales Representative to grow our customer base by delivering crane, rigging, and lifting solutions for industrial and commercial projects. You will build and nurture relationships, understand project needs, and coordinate with operations to ensure successful execution.

This role requires 2+ years in related fields, strong business development and communication skills, and willingness to travel for meetings and site visits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in industrial sales, construction, manufacturing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify opportunities for crane, rigging, and lifting services within assigned markets and accounts.
• Conduct customer meetings and jobsite visits to evaluate project requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and lift plans for safe, successful project execution.
• Collaborate with operations, dispatch, and field teams to ensure projects are properly planned and executed.
• Develop an understanding of customer operations and become a trusted resource for lifting and transportation challenges.
• Present solutions, respond to questions, and follow through on opportunities from contact to project award.
• Support safe project execution by identifying risks and ensuring solutions align with capabilities.
