Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a Crane & Rigging Sales Representative to build relationships with customers and drive growth by delivering crane, rigging, and lifting solutions for industrial projects. Travel is required for meetings, site visits, and business development activities.

The role emphasizes strong relationship-building, commercial awareness, and collaboration with operations and field teams to ensure safe, efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in industrial sales, construction, or related field.
• Strong business development and relationship management.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in crane, rigging and lifting solutions.
• Ability to evaluate project requirements and develop practical client solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Ability to perform jobsite evaluations, including outdoor work and climbing.
• Must have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers.
• Identify opportunities for crane, rigging, and lifting services.
• Conduct customer meetings and site visits to evaluate requirements.
• Prepare estimates, proposals, and lift plans.
• Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and field teams.
• Develop understanding of customer operations and lifting challenges.
• Present solutions and follow through from contact to project award.
• Support safe project execution by identifying risks and aligning with capabilities.
• Maintain accurate customer, project, and opportunity data in systems.
• Develop new business opportunities while growing existing relationships.
