Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Territory Manager Market Support to develop and manage established and new customers by selling food and non-food items to meet sales and profitability goals. This role covers for Territory Managers and may transition to a Territory Manager in 9–12 months, with a structured training program and a 2027 start for graduates.

You’ll foster customer relationships, coordinate deliveries to a published routing schedule, and collaborate across departments to drive top penetration

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience preferred.
• Foodservice/culinary/restaurant management experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships and cold call to develop new business.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; CRM tools experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster the customer relationship in a team-based selling model.
• Manage deliveries to the routing schedule; troubleshoot order issues.
• Communicate and collect accounts receivable per approved credit terms.
• Leverage resources for top penetration opportunities and new accounts.
• Develop new business by using market intelligence and leads from existing clients.
• Know market conditions, product innovations, and competitors; share insights with customers.
