Job summary

Waters is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to act as a liaison between the U.S. Commercial organization and internal teams, ensuring end-to-end order management and excellent customer experience.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, and Finance to drive accurate, timely order processing and ongoing process improvements. This role emphasizes data integrity, strong communication, and cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced, regulated environment; prior ERP/CRM experience

Qualifications

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is highly preferred.
• Experience with SalesForce or similar CRM system is preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and email systems are required.
• Proactive self-starter that drives for results.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end order lifecycle, including order receipt, entry, fulfillment coordination, invoicing, and post-sales support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for order-related inquiries, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues, manage exceptions, and ensure timely order execution.
• Analyze business processes and workflows to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, increased efficiency, enhanced accuracy, and improved customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate customer and order records within enterprise systems and ensure data integrity across business processes.
• Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed to support business operations and customer requirements.
• Monitor order activity, proactively identify potential risks or delays, and take appropriate action to minimize customer impact.
• Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with established policies, procedures, and service-level expectations while maintaining a high standard of operational excellence.
