Job summary

Avant Communications LLC in Chicago is seeking a Manager, Sales Operations to support the EVP of Global Sales and the Global Sales Team. You will oversee standard reporting, manage Salesforce admin tasks, and help implement technology and processes to support sales strategy.

This role also includes preparing meeting materials, training staff on new tools, partnering with cross-functional teams, and driving multiple projects to improve efficiency and governance across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in sales operations or with high-functioning sales teams.
• Proficiency in Salesforce, Excel, PowerBI, and Access.
• Strong communication, analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent project and program management, with leading virtual teams.
• Channel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages standard reporting processes and special data requests; collaborates with EVP of Global Sales and VPs on monthly reporting.
• Implements new technologies and processes to support sales teams.
• Provides Salesforce administrative support.
• Prepares meeting materials for the EVP, Global Sales.
• Trains staff on new technology and software.
• Supports account management and quarterly/monthly business review reports.
• Collaborates with Pathfinder development, marketing, vendor management, and channel sales ops to enhance Back Office.
• Partners with channel ops/IT to implement channel strategy, data/reporting, and system workflows.
• Works cross-functionally with marketing, engineering, and vendor management to grow partner programs.
