Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Sales Support Specialist in Evansville to manage small to mid-tier accounts, ensuring on-time and in-full order servicing. You will support customer service, sales operations and finance with transactional activities, data encoding and system accuracy across multiple channels.

Responsibilities include order entry, incident tracking, new item creation, sample coordination, and quoting. Collaboration with Customer Care and cross-functional teams is essential to deliver flawless

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred in Management, Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain.
• 1–2 years’ experience in customer service in a fast moving consumer or manufacturing environment.
• 1–2 years’ experience working with ERP, Portals, and other Data Encoding and Interchange software.
• Proficiency in gathering, analyzing and interpreting data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Order Entry – encode orders on-time with accuracy and evaluate against MOQs.
• Customer Incident Tracking – resolve invoice disputes, short deliveries, and returns.
• New Item Creation – coordinate master data and item setup for orders.
• Sample Requests – process samples and ensure timely production/shipment.
• Quoting – prepare quotes with all product details and pricing levels.
• Regulatory, Specs, and Drawing Requests – retrieve/submit as required.
• ITrade – maintain EDI connectivity within order-to-cash processes.
• Customer Portal Maintenance – provide accurate, up-to-date portal information.
• GDSN – maintain item attributes via OneWorldSync for customers.
• Backup to Customer Care Specialists and other workload share.
