Job summary

Amcor is hiring a Sales Support Specialist in Evansville, IN to manage small to mid-tier accounts, ensure orders are entered accurately and shipped on time, and support customer service, sales operations, and finance through ERP and portals.

You will work with the Customer Care Specialist to ensure flawless communication with customers, support item setup, quotes, and regulatory requests, contributing to high customer satisfaction and efficient order-to-cash processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree Preferred in Management, Sales, Marketing, or Supply Chain
• 1-2 years’ experience in customer service in a fast moving consumer or manufacturing environment
• Strongly preferred 1-2 years’ experience working with ERP, Portals, and other Data Encoding and Interchange software
• Proficiency in gathering, analyzing and interpreting data
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and related Office applications
• Effectively communicate with customers, both external and internal

Responsibilities

• Order Entry – Ensures customer order is encoded accurately and on-time.
• Customer Incident Tracking – process customer complaints and returns for timely resolution.
• New Item Creation – coordinates with cross-functional teams for master data.
• Sample Requests – manage sample requests and ensure timely production and shipment.
• Quoting – enter product details, volumes, MOQs, and pricing levels in Quote App.
• Regulatory, Specs, and Drawing Requests: retrieve and submit requested docs.
• ITrade – maintain EDI connectivity for order-to-cash process as needed.
• Customer Portal Maintenance – act as point of contact for online portals.
• GDSN – maintain item attributes and upload new items in OneWorldSync.
• Backup to Customer Care Specialists as needed.
• Additional Responsibilities not to exceed 30% of workload: Order Acknowledgement, Status, Demand Management, Service risks mitigation.
