Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to act as the primary contact between customers and the Amcor organization in North America. You will handle orders, coordinate shipping and inventory, and collaborate across functions to meet customer expectations while maintaining strong documentation and compliance.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, process adherence, and continuous improvement, with a focus on quality and accurate information flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Experience in a Manufacturing and/or Customer Service environment preferred
• Basic Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

• Build customer loyalty through positive customer engagement
• Collaborate with other functions on escalated issues relating to customer orders, graphics issues, ship dates, quality concerns and more to meet customer expectations
• Process customer orders, screen information for accuracy and completeness
• Monitor orders through manufacturing process and advise customers and Sales of delays, provide alternatives
• Manage shipments, inventory coordination, and basic inventory programs
• Provide Bill of Lading, Proof of Delivery, Certificate of Compliance and inventory reports to customers
• Maintain active customer electronic profiles and item lists to ensure service excellence
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and act as back-up for team members
