Job summary

CDW in Tempe, Arizona is seeking a Sales Operations Supervisor to lead operational management and drive profitable revenue growth for regional sales districts. The role partners with sales leaders, analyzes data, and resolves order issues across Backoffice departments.

The SOS will align with OEM partners, balance profitability with customer satisfaction, and provide coaching to account managers on operational tasks. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree with 2 years of sales process experience required.
• 1 year CDW experience or 2 years external sales process management required.
• Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret numerical data for reporting purposes.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, with ability to derive recommendations.
• Ability to develop trusted relationships at all levels.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to collaborate and problem solve.
• Expert knowledge of AS400 and SPS order processing.
• Deep knowledge of backbone departments, responsibilities, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop trusted partnerships with sales managers to provide operational management.
• Understand how related teams coordinate to achieve objectives.
• Collaborate with internal CDW departments to resolve order issues.
• Strategize with sales managers to build partner and customer relationships.
• Align with OEM partners to organize sales enablement activities.
• Assess impact of gross margin changes and RMAs on profitability.
• Gather and analyze data to solve complex problems.
• Provide actionable insight on Sales Analytics reporting.
• Review month end open order reports with account managers to close deals.
• Create and manage backorder reports to keep business with CDW.
