We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, provide estimates, and offer multiple options using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform estimates for roof replacements to secure sales
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients
  3. Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
  4. Promptly return all missed calls/messages
  5. Convert leads to prospects with provided estimates
  6. Enter lead info into CRM, including notes and tagging
  7. Research specialty items & sourcing prior to estimates
  8. Present roofing, color, style, & payment options
  9. Ensure exceptional customer experience
  10. Notify management of customer issues or concerns
  11. Prepare postcards & letters for mailing campaigns
  12. Execute marketing strategies and develop personal strategies
  13. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
  14. Prepare & execute daily sales plans
  15. Grow market share and maximize territory performance
  16. Stay updated on roofing systems, trends, and material pricing
  17. Complete contract details and legal documents accurately
  18. Develop a personal routine that aligns with SOPs
  19. Attend weekly and scheduled meetings

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 2 years of sales experience in any field; construction or industrial sales is a plus
  • Professional, able to network, and enjoys conversation
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong grammar, verbal and written, and math skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with a drive to sell
  • Proven accuracy and safety focus
  • Sales tracking and analysis skills
  • Competitive, with a desire for continuous improvement
  • Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs daily
  • Ability to learn and use CRM software
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Team-oriented, dependable, organized, and positive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
  • Self-managed and able to work independently
  • Aligned with our R.O.O.F.S values and mission
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs, and perform physical activities as required
