We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.
The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, estimate costs, and provide several options to customers using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
- Perform estimates for roof replacement with the goal of closing sales
- Build rapport & trust with clients
- Maintain relationships with professional partners for networking
- Promptly return all missed calls/messages and follow up with customers
- Convert leads to prospects via estimates
- Utilize company-provided leads based on performance and availability
- No Door Knocking required
- Enter lead information into CRM accurately, including notes and tagging relevant team members
- Research specialty items & source materials prior to estimates
- Present roofing options, styles, & payment plans to prospects
- Provide an exceptional customer experience
- Report issues or concerns to management
- Prepare and send postcards & letters for marketing campaigns
- Implement marketing strategies set by team lead & Director of Sales; develop personal strategies with approval
- Understand jurisdiction permit requirements
- Prepare & execute daily sales plans
- Grow market share and maximize territory performance
- Continuously educate yourself on roofing systems, trends, and materials
- Stay updated on material pricing & availability
- Complete contracts and legal documents accurately and clearly
- Develop a personal routine that aligns with SOPs and your work style
- Attend weekly and scheduled meetings
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of sales experience in any field; construction or industrial sales a plus
- Professional, able to network, and enjoy conversations
- Excellent customer service skills and desire for customer satisfaction
- Strong grammar, verbal and written, & math skills
- Strong negotiation skills with a drive to sell
- Proven accuracy & safety focus
- Sales tracking and analysis skills
- Competitive drive and continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to climb ladders & walk roofs daily; work in confined spaces as needed
- Ability to learn and use CRM software; manage jobs
- Intermediate computer/technological skills
- Ability to work well with others and interdepartmentally
- Dependable, organized, detail-oriented, positive attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication
- Self-managed and able to work independently with minimal supervision

- Physical ability to lift 75 lbs, stand, sit, bend, twist, and move efficiently
