Job description

We are seeking a motivated & energetic ROOFING ESTIMATOR to join our team.

The ideal candidate will obtain leads & convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform roof inspections, prepare estimates, and provide clients with multiple options using our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy. Build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication, follow-up, and follow-through.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform estimates for roof replacements to secure sales.
  2. Build rapport & trust with clients.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with professional partners for networking.
  4. Promptly return all missed calls/messages and follow up with customers.
  5. Convert leads into prospects via estimates.
  6. Enter lead information into CRM, including notes, and ensure proper tagging.
  7. Research specialty items & source materials prior to estimates.
  8. Present roofing, color, style, & payment options to prospects.
  9. Ensure an exceptional customer experience.
  10. Notify management of customer issues or concerns.
  11. Prepare marketing materials such as postcards & letters.
  12. Implement and develop marketing strategies in collaboration with team leadership.
  13. Understand jurisdiction permit requirements.
  14. Execute daily sales plans.
  15. Grow market share and maximize territory performance.
  16. Stay updated on roofing systems, trends, and materials.
  17. Maintain accuracy in contract and legal document completion.
  18. Develop personal routines aligning with SOPs.
  19. Attend weekly and scheduled meetings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience; construction or industrial sales preferred.
  • Professional, networking skills, and love for conversation.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills.
  • Accuracy and safety-consciousness.
  • Experience with sales tracking and analysis.
  • Competitive drive and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to climb ladders and walk roofs daily.
  • Proficiency with CRM and computer skills.
  • Team-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and email communication.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
