The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Sales Manager for the TRENTON-PRINCETON, NJ store to lead a high-performing selling culture and customer-focused service. You will drive sales, coach staff, and ensure compliance with SOPs and brand standards.

Responsibilities include managing front-end operations, POS systems, and events, while promoting loyalty programs and protection plans. Expect a dynamic, hands-on leadership role with evening and weekend hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience
• Experience leading front-end and service operations
• Ability to coach and develop team members

Responsibilities

• Lead store in SOP adherence and company programs to ensure legal and policy compliance
• Coach and drive best-in-class Customer Experience and ART of Selling behaviors
• Provide MOD coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout operations for smooth transactions
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program
• Drive omni-channel service like BOPIS and Same Day Delivery
• Support framing and custom services in select volumes
• Train and develop team through structured onboarding and ongoing skills buildout
• Partner to maintain Asset Protection practices to reduce shrink
