Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. in Flemington, NJ is seeking a Sales Manager to lead a high-performing selling culture across the store, drive sales, and deliver an engaging customer experience.

You will oversee front-end and service operations, ensure brand standards, and coach teams to meet KPIs. Responsibilities include SOP adherence, POS accuracy, managing events, promoting the Loyalty Rewards Program, and ensuring omni-channel execution including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience leading customer experience initiatives and team coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and ensure SOP adherence.
• Coach team on selling behaviors and customer experience to meet KPIs.
• Oversee POS and Self-Checkout systems for smooth transactions.
• Promote and enroll customers in the Loyalty Rewards Program.
• Drive omni-channel services including BOPIS and Same Day Delivery.
• Lead Balloons, framing and in-store events; ensure program execution.
• Develop staff through onboarding and ongoing training.
• Maintain asset protection practices and shrink controls.
