Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an Employee-Owner Sales Manager to lead inside sales, align with operations, and drive customer satisfaction across our metal building components division. You will manage a team of Territory Sales Managers and use SOPs to sustain growth.

This role emphasizes coaching, data-driven planning, and collaboration with production and logistics to meet capacity and inventory goals while maintaining brand integrity and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a customer service environment.
• Ability to create presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the inside sales team.
• Staff, train, and conduct performance evaluations to develop team members and control sales strategy execution.
• Assign key accounts/customers, coach Territory Sales Managers on activities and performance, and ensure KPI alignment.
• Lead succession planning and maintain a strong leadership bench within the team.
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain to align sales with production capacity and inventory.
