Job summary

Central States Manufacturing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to oversee the inside sales function within the manufacturing division, driving SOP compliance and customer service excellence.

You will lead a team of Territory Sales Managers, coordinating with operations to align inventory and capacity with sales priorities and ensuring quality issues are resolved through root-cause analysis. You will collaborate across functions to enhance customer engagement, retention, and brand

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a customer service environment.
Ability to create presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
Ability to analyze data using Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the inside sales team.
Staff, train, and conduct performance evaluations to develop team members and control sales strategy execution.
Assign key accounts/customers, coach Territory Sales Managers on activities and performance, and ensure alignment with KPIs and goals.
Lead succession planning and maintain a strong leadership bench within the team.
Develop and implement sales plans aligned with divisional priorities and SOPs.
Monitor team performance against defined KPIs and sales targets.
Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to support retention and satisfaction initiatives.
