Job summary

Foot Locker in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to help drive sales, coach the team, and keep the store running smoothly. You will lead by example on the floor, deliver memorable customer experiences, and own day-to-day operations with energy and accountability.

This role requires 1+ year of retail leadership, strong communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. You’ll contribute to a fast-paced, community-focused store that values hustle and ownership.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail leadership or key holder experience.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead on the sales floor with energy, solutions, and customer focus.
• Coach the team to deliver great service and product knowledge.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and closing the loop with customers.
• Assist with opening/closing, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Keep the store organized, customer ready, and running smoothly.
• Follow safety and loss prevention procedures to protect people and product.
• Take an owner/operator mindset and uphold store standards.
• Utilize retail tech to enhance customer experience and operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled with clear direction.
• Assist hiring, onboarding, and training of associates.
• Coach teammates in real time and address performance gaps.
• Jump in wherever needed to support team and priorities.
