Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a part-time Sales Lead to support the Store Manager in driving sales, coaching the team, and running the store smoothly. You will lead with energy, ownership, and a customer‑centric mindset to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

As a hands‑on leader, you’ll engage customers, coach teammates, and ensure daily operations run efficiently while maintaining high standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership or key‑holding role.
• Ability to coach, motivate, and engage a diverse team.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and ready to take ownership.
• Basic understanding of retail KPIs and operational processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor with an energy, confidence, and solutions to every customer interaction.
• Coach the team to deliver great service, share product knowledge, and keep customers excited to shop.
• Support sales goals by staying engaged on the floor and helping the team close the loop with customers.
• Open/close duties, cash handling, and floor coverage.
• Keep the store organized, customer‑ready, and running smoothly.
• Follow safety, loss prevention, and SOPs.
• Own issues and maintain standards on store execution.
• Use retail tech to enhance the customer experience and operations.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when scheduled, provide leadership.
• Assist hiring, onboarding, and training of associates.
• Coach teammates in real time and close performance gaps.
• Jump in wherever needed to support the team and store priorities.
