Job summary

Soma in Pittsburgh is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leaders, supervise the team, and uphold brand standards. You will set the tone for customer-centered experiences, leading by example on the sales floor and across omni-channel touchpoints, ensuring hospitality reflects our culture.

With at least 2 years of retail management experience and flexible availability, you will coach associates, manage scheduling and operations, and help achieve sales goals while maintaining a welcoming

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling, when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
