Job summary

Soma is seeking a Sales Lead in Tigard, OR to partner with store leaders to supervise the team, lead by example, and support leadership responsibilities as needed. You’ll uphold brand standards and foster a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the sale, reflecting our culture of hospitality.

You will set the tone for achieving team goals by providing clear direction, coaching, and performance support while maintaining strong product knowledge on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate the register and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with opening and closing tasks.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor and use an omni-channel approach.
• Coach and encourage team to meet performance goals.
• Handle cash, schedule, inventory, and replenishment tasks.
• Know current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas with store leadership and contribute to a positive team environment.
