Job summary

Soma is seeking a part‑time Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, coach the team, and uphold brand standards. You’ll foster a welcoming, customer‑driven environment and drive memorable, personalized experiences aligned with our hospitality culture.

You will support store operations, lead by example on the sales floor, and help meet performance goals while managing cash handling and inventory tasks. This role offers flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2 years retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist store leadership with general store operations, including opening/closing.
• Share brand priorities and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor with product knowledge and omni-channel approaches.
• Provide coaching to keep team on track with goals.
• Execute cash handling, scheduling, inventory, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development and scheduling as needed.
• Share ideas with store leadership and contribute to a positive work environment.
