Job summary

JCPenney in Colonial Heights, VA seeks a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading associates, maintaining merchandise standards, and executing visual and branding programs.

You will train and develop teams, manage omnichannel processes, oversee specialty areas, and ensure efficient floor recovery, reporting metrics and driving shrink and safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Directs Customer Service and sales activities in store; resolves customer issues and concerns. Models and holds team accountable for outstanding customer service.
• Manages merchandise standards through Put to Fixture, SET, and Visual process execution; leads floor moves and signing; drives sell-through and reduces shrink.
• Trains, mentors and coaches associates on omnichannel processes including pickup, delivery, and curbside pickup; monitors metrics and resolves issues.
• Leads specialty businesses (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window) and oversees training and care plans; manages defective returns and vendor communications.
• Partners with managers to source and hire hourly staff; coaches in the moment and addresses performance issues.
• Ensures performance standards across shrink, safety, omnichannel, scheduling, and attendance.
