Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor who will drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading and developing store associates. You will manage merchandise standards, execute floor plans, pricing and signing, and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key responsibilities include directing in-store sales activities, managing omnichannel processes, and leading specialty operations to maximize sell-through while maintaining high presentation standards.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to train, coach and develop store associates.
• Experience maintaining visual standards and merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities

• Directs customer service and sales activities in-store; resolves issues and ensures satisfaction.
• Manages merchandise standards, floor moves, and visual execution including pricing and signing.
• Trains, mentors, and coaches associates on omnichannel processes and pickup/return workflows.
• Leads specialty areas (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window) and drives sell-through through merchandising.
• Recruits and develops store staff; supports scheduling and performance feedback.
• Meets performance standards across shrink, safety, Omnichannel, attendance, and productivity.
