Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Assistant to drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading associates and ensuring merchandise standards. You will manage restock, RFID/inventory, and visual set responsibilities while supporting store initiatives.

You will maintain a clean, organized store environment, engage on the floor, and contribute to omnichannel tasks to enhance the customer shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and sales, leading team accountability.
• Plan merchandise placement and support inventory processes.
• Support SET/visual maintenance and stockroom organization.
• Assist omnichannel processes including BOPIS and ship-from-store as needed.
• Assist with merchandise transfers, returns and annual inventory activities.
• Meet performance standards for sales, service, profitability, productivity and attendance.
