Job summary

JCPenney is looking for a Sales Floor Assistant to drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading associates, maintaining merchandise standards, and executing company programs.

You will engage customers, support inventory and visual standards, and contribute to omnichannel tasks and store operations while upholding safety and attendance expectations. Eligible associates receive a benefits package and employee discount.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales – Models and holds team accountable for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Door to Floor / Restock / RFID & Inventory – Assists with inventory processes and restock program insights.
• SET / Visual / Environment – Assists with floor moves, graphics, and visual detailing to support merchandising statements.
• Omnichannel (SVG 2‑3 only) – Assists with jcp.com processes and Buy Online Pick Up In Store/Ship from Store as needed.
• General Operations – Supports Merchandise Transfer Out, Return to Vendor, and annual inventory processes.
• Performance Standards – Supports shrink and safety initiatives and meets role performance standards.
