Job summary

Caterpillar’s Electric Power Division in Irving, TX seeks a Sales Engineer to support go-to-market initiatives and sales execution as a subject matter expert for assigned products and services.

You will provide technical answers, review bid specifications, and deliver product training to customers and dealers, leveraging your generator design experience and field service background to drive value.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical Engineering degree is required; Electrical Engineering degree preferred.
• Experience with generator design, applications, field service, or customer support is required.

Responsibilities

• Support territory managers with technical product information.
• Answer technical questions and review bid specifications.
• Act as SME at critical customer visits and provide product training to customers and dealers.
