An industry leading manufacturer is seeking a Sales Engineer in Hartford, CT. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing territory sales, establishing client relationships, and providing innovative solutions while traveling within the New England area. This position offers a competitive salary between $60k and $70k plus commission, alongside a benefits package including retirement plan, dental, life insurance and more. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Territory Sales as a Road Warrior in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.
• Previous success in both Sustaining and Establishing Client Relationships.
• Demonstrated success in reviewing purchase orders and staying organized.
• Willing to travel regularly throughout the New England territory.
• Knowledge of industrial/machinery processes is a huge plus.

Job description

An outstanding, full-time opportunity has become available with an industry leading manufacturer in the Hartford, CT area for a Sales Engineer with a sales background in the Industrial Engineering & Manufacturing industry (preferably the plating Industry). This role earns a generous base salary with commission plus a fantastic benefits package that includes a retirement plan, dental, life insurance, PTO, company van and gas expenses provided and other terrific perks.

This role is open to operate anywhere within the New England territory that is also in a commutable distance to the Manufacturer near Montclair, NJ for occasional visits to this facility.

Required work experience includes:

• 3-5 years’ experience in Territory Sales as a Road Warrior in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry is a MUST
• Previous success in both Sustaining and Establishing Client Relationships is a MUST
• Demonstrated success in reviewing purchase orders, scheduling routes weekly, arranging pick-ups/deliveries, and staying organized is a MUST
• Willingness and experience regularly traveling throughout the New England territory is a MUST
• Knowledge of Industrial/machinery processes (metal finishing, plating, powdered coating, electro-plating, anodizing, etc.) is a HUGE PLUS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Business, Engineering, or related field is a HUGE PLUS
