Metric Geo is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Greater Cincinnati / Dayton motion control market. This technical, customer-facing role focuses on growing OEM and distribution accounts and selling precision gearboxes and servo automation solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales experience in motion control/industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo motors, drives or related motion tech.
• Experience selling direct to OEMs and via distribution.
• Able to discuss servo sizing and mechanical/electrical applications.
• Engineering, Mathematics or Physics degree preferred.
• Must be based in Cincinnati/Dayton area.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a multi-million-dollar sales territory.
• Manage a mix of OEM, distributor and end-user accounts.

I’m supporting a leading manufacturer of high-performance motion control technology looking to add an experienced Regional Sales Manager across the Greater Cincinnati / Dayton market.

This is a technical, customer-facing sales role focused on growing both OEM and distribution accounts across the territory.

The Role:

• Develop and grow a multi-million-dollar sales territory
• Manage a mix of OEM, distributor and end-user accounts
• Sell technically engineered precision gearboxes & servo automation solutions
• Identify new applications and guide customers through system sizing / solution selection
• Develop long-term relationships with engineering, operations and purchasing teams
• Manage major projects, quotations, negotiations and forecasting
• Approximately 75% travel across the territory

The Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of technical sales experience within motion control / industrial automation
• Strong knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo motors, drives and/or related motion technologies
• Experience selling both direct to OEMs and through distribution
• Technically capable of discussing servo sizing and mechanical/electrical applications
• Engineering, Mathematics or Physics degree preferred
• Must be based within the Cincinnati / Dayton area
