Metric Geo is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Greater Cincinnati / Dayton market to expand a multi-product motion control portfolio. You will develop OEM and distribution relationships, size solutions, and drive major projects with engineering and purchasing teams.

This technical, customer-facing role emphasizes servo motors, precision gearboxes, drives and related motion technologies, with about 75% travel across the territory and a strong track record of quota attainment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical sales experience within motion control / industrial automation.
• Experience selling direct to OEMs and through distribution.
• Technically capable of discussing servo sizing and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a multi-million-dollar sales territory across Cincinnati/Dayton.
• Manage a mix of OEM, distributor and end-user accounts.
• Sell technically engineered precision gearboxes & servo automation solutions.
• Identify new applications and guide customers through system sizing and solution selection.
• Develop long-term relationships with engineering, operations and purchasing teams.
• Manage major projects, quotations, negotiations and forecasting.
