Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Greater Cincinnati / Dayton motion control market. This technical, customer-facing role focuses on growing OEM and distribution accounts and selling precision gearboxes and servo automation solutions.

You will guide customers through sizing and applications while building long-term engineering and purchasing relationships. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in motion control/industrial automation sales, understands servo sizing, and is based

Qualifications

5+ years of technical sales experience in motion control/industrial automation.
Strong knowledge of precision gearboxes, servo motors, drives or related motion tech.
Experience selling direct to OEMs and via distribution.
Able to discuss servo sizing and mechanical/electrical applications.
Engineering, Mathematics or Physics degree preferred.
Must be based in Cincinnati/Dayton area.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow a multi-million-dollar sales territory.
Manage a mix of OEM, distributor and end-user accounts.
Sell precision gearboxes and servo automation solutions.
Identify new applications and guide customers through sizing and selection.
Build long-term relationships with engineering, operations and purchasing teams.
Manage projects, quotations, negotiations and forecasting.
Travel approximately 75% of the time.
