Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years’ experience in customer service or another customer-facing environment.
• Experience or training in computers and related systems in an administrative office environment; AS400 experience is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication to resolve customer issues or concerns.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse customer population in a business-like manner.
• Ability to work well in both team and independent settings.
• Willingness to learn radio-communication techniques and pager systems.
• Knowledge of local geographical areas (streets, highways, cities).
• Ability to make decisions per established guidelines; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyses, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional and timely manner.
• Communicates with customers to schedule service calls and gathers information on needs.
• Calls customers to remind them of appointments and updates on arrival times.
• Plans and routes technicians to service calls based on availability, location, and needs.
• Maintains capacity planning and updates the dispatch board.
• Responds to technician requests and represents the company professionally.
• Notifies next customers to confirm appointments and pages technicians.
• Documents lead and sale information in tracking systems and updates as needed.
• Explains financing options and assists with financing forms as required.
• Performs outbound calls to convert leads to scheduled sales calls when needed.
• Assigns leads and updates capacity in the system.
• Creates quotes and documents sale details for sales calls.
• Follows up after installation to ensure customer satisfaction and address requests.
• Debriefs all consultants and updates lead information.
• Keeps leadership informed of issues affecting service delivery.
• Generates reports and tracks activities for contests or events.
• Performs other duties as needed.
