Job summary

Ericsson's Sales Director – Utilities role focuses on defining and executing the utilities vertical sales strategy within the US Mission Critical Networks unit. You will own revenue growth, build and qualify a robust pipeline, and lead executive engagements across networks, cloud, and services to deliver differentiated customer outcomes.

You will drive multi-year opportunities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and negotiate complex deals, with significant travel to engage utility

Qualifications

• 10+ years of enterprise sales experience in telecom or critical-infrastructure industries.
• Quota carrying responsibility for long, complex technology or managed-services deals.
• Experience selling to utility customers (IOUs, municipal utilities, cooperatives) or similar sectors.

Responsibilities

• Own the Utilities sales strategy, revenue growth, bookings pipeline, and account priorities.
• Partner with KAM teams to develop and execute account plans and joint customer engagement plans.
• Build, qualify, and advance a sustainable pipeline of new-logo, modernization, expansion, and managed-services opportunities.
• Lead commercial sales cycles from qualification to close, including business-case development and negotiation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to develop competitive proposals and fulfill commitments.
