Job summary

ABB Inc. is seeking a Sales Director - PV & BESS to lead and expand our solar and energy storage inverter business across North America. This role requires extensive experience in driving growth and building customer partnerships within the renewable energy sector.

The position offers a remote working model with a travel expectation of 40%-50% within the US, supporting a significant impact in the energy transition initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and proven sales experience in the Inverter/PCS market.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of experience in selling Inverters/PCS for utility scale Solar and BESS customers.
• Previous experience in the PV and BESS industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales and business development activities for inverter products.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Generate offers and respond to customer RFPs.
• Assist product management teams in improving product portfolios.
