Job summary

ABB is seeking a Consultant – Energy & Carbon Services to drive service sales for renewables in the US. This remote role focuses on EV and solar infrastructure, building long-term client relationships and delivering tailored proposals.

The candidate should have a business/sales background, 3+ years in sales, and knowledge of electrical/Energy tech; strong communication and CRM skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or sales field or related experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum of 3 years in a sales-driven role.
• Technical knowledge of electrical engineering, EV and solar energy infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generates service sales leads and partners with senior peers to develop new market opportunities.
• Uses CRM data to identify and develop sales opportunities within the market.
• Market ABB’s Renewables service products and solutions through campaigns, trade shows, and customer meetings.
• Translates customer needs into ABB ECS Renewables offerings and solutions.
• Supports tailored proposal generation to meet customer needs and internal targets.
• Builds long-term customer relationships and understands requirements for Life Cycle Management (LCM).
• Documents customer feedback and ensures satisfaction throughout the sales process.
• Collaborates with Operations and Engineering on price, quality and package requirements.
