Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics in the United States is seeking a highly motivated Sales Director to initiate contact with potential customers, generate and qualify leads, promote the company’s products and services, and drive revenue growth in a fast-growing market.

The role requires articulating Arcadia’s value proposition, building local and regional relationships, collaborating with operations and the solutions team, and managing a budget while hitting KPIs; travel up to 75% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain / distribution / warehousing / transportation sales experience.
• Heavy experience in sales, new company prospecting, qualification, lead generation, selling, and closing new business.
• Experience in temperature-controlled warehousing or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation/freight consolidation programs a bonus.
• CRM experience with Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted action plans to generate new sales leads and prospects.
• Develop local and regional relationships with customers and related parties, demonstrating exceptional customer focus.
• Partner with operations and other sales members to sell the full suite of services across Arcadia’s network.
• Develop and maintain pricing to meet sales margin objectives.
• Update Salesforce CRM with status updates and opportunities in real time.
• Create presentations and RFP responses to address customer challenges.
• Collaborate with Solutions Implementation to onboard new accounts.
• Provide daily/weekly sales updates and KPI reporting.
• Manage budget and expenses to stay within targets.
