Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage is seeking a dynamic Sales Director to drive new business across our cold-chain network. You will lead strategic prospecting, build regional relationships, and collaborate with operations to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of value to customers.

The role requires 5+ years in supply chain or warehousing sales, strong negotiation and CRM expertise, and willingness to travel up to 75%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of supply chain / distribution / warehousing / transportation sales experience.
• Heavy experience in sales, new company prospecting, qualification, lead generation, selling, and closing new business.
• Experience in temperature-controlled warehousing or related industry preferred.
• Knowledge of transportation/freight consolidation programs a bonus.
• Responsive, collaborative problem solving and action orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated and adaptable.
• Hands on experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com).
• Ability to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Develop targeted action plans to generate new sales leads and prospects.
• Develop local and regional relationships with customers and related parties.
• Partner with operations and other sales members to sell the full suite of services.
• Develop and maintain pricing and financial measures to meet sales margin objectives.
• Maintain real-time CRM data in Salesforce.com.
• Create and deliver presentations and RFP responses for prospects.
• Collaborate with Solutions Implementation to onboard new accounts.
• Provide daily/weekly sales updates to management.
• Manage individual budget and control expenses.
