About The Role
The role sits at the front of the revenue engine for a B2B SaaS company selling data infrastructure and analytics software to technical buyers. It is responsible for identifying, researching, and qualifying outbound prospects and converting them into booked meetings for account executives. This is a metrics-driven, high-velocity position built for people who want a clear path into enterprise sales. The team runs structured training, weekly coaching on messaging and discovery, and a defined promotion track into account executive or sales management roles.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute 60-80 outbound touches per day across phone, email, and LinkedIn to reach directors and VPs in engineering, data, and IT organizations
- Research target accounts using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Apollo to identify buying committees and personalize multi-threaded outreach
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads against criteria such as tech stack fit, budget authority, and timeline, then book discovery meetings for account executives
- Manage full-funnel pipeline hygiene in Salesforce and Outreach, keeping CRM records, sequences, and next steps accurate and current
- Hit weekly and monthly targets for dials, meetings booked, and qualified pipeline contribution
- Partner with marketing to test messaging, provide field feedback on objections, and refine ideal customer profiles by segment
- Meet or exceed a monthly quota of 12-15 qualified opportunities passed to the account executive team
What We Are Looking For
- 0-2 years of experience in sales, customer-facing roles, or SDR/BDR programs; recent graduates encouraged to apply
- Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical buyers
- Comfortable with high-volume phone and email outreach and motivated by measurable, quota-based targets
- Coachable and resilient — actively seeks feedback and iterates quickly on what works
- Familiarity with a CRM (Salesforce preferred) and sales-engagement or productivity tools
- Bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: prior experience selling to engineers or data teams, knowledge of the cloud/data stack (AWS, Snowflake, dbt, or similar), or completion of a sales bootcamp or internship with quota accountability
