Job summary

Central Georgia Technology in Peachtree City is seeking a Sales Development Representative to open doors for local businesses. You’ll identify healthcare, legal, professional services, and nonprofit prospects, and book qualified conversations for our account executives.

You’ll combine in-person networking, office visits, and outbound emails to build a robust pipeline. This is not a call-center role; you’ll engage with decision-makers and own your territory.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, recruiting, business development, or any role starting conversations with strangers.
• Comfort picking up the phone and walking through a front door.
• Discipline and meticulous note-taking.
• Clear, plain communication and active listening.
• Coachable and responsive to feedback.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Curiosity and honesty about services offered.

Responsibilities

• Target local businesses in healthcare, legal, professional services, and nonprofits.
• Call, visit, and network to initiate conversations with owners and managers.
• Run real conversations with a framework, then tailor to the prospect.
• Book 30-minute walkthroughs when problems are material.
• Log every touch in the CRM the same day.
• Pass qualified meetings to the account executive with notes.
• Report weekly activity and results to Tim.
