Job summary

Actalent is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Rep in Parsippany, NJ to build trusted relationships with engineering and sciences clients. You’ll identify target accounts and prospects, qualifying opportunities and driving early-stage sales with CRMs and outreach.

You’ll start with a base salary of $70,000 after training, with unlimited commissions and incentives that can lead to six-figure total compensation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and/or sales.
• Strong desire for a career in Business-to-Business/relationship-based sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency, presentation skills and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Identify target accounts and prospects using internal and external resources.
• Develop and manage client relationships for engineering and sciences clients.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings with decision makers to qualify opportunities.
• Negotiate terms to maximize profitability and align with market rates.
• Collaborate with recruiting to fulfill client needs.
