Actalent is seeking a proactive Sales Development Rep to join our team in Charlotte, NC. You will build trusted relationships with engineering and sciences clients and drive growth by identifying and nurturing opportunities.

You will partner with recruiting to align client needs with top science and engineering talent. The role includes a comprehensive training program, a strong commission plan, and clear path to advancement within the Actalent or Aston Carter brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in customer service, leadership, or sales.
• Strong desire for a B2B/relationship-based sales career.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency, strong presentation skills, and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Serve as talent solutions and services subject matter expert for territory.
• Establish and adjust a target account list using internal and external resources.
• Identify, develop, and manage new and existing client relationships using CRMs and networking tools.
• Conduct well-prepared face-to-face meetings with decision-makers and qualify opportunities.
• Increase sales and market share among assigned and new accounts.
• Negotiate bill rates and terms to align with market standards and profitability.
• Build and maintain relationships by providing quality consultants and resumes.
• Lead client meetings and consultant lunches as part of sales activities.
• Collaborate with recruiting to identify top sciences and engineering talent.
