Actalent is seeking a motivated Sales Development Rep to help advance careers of professionals in engineering and sciences. You will build trusted relationships with our network and partner with recruiting to fulfill client needs.

The role emphasizes identifying target accounts, conducting client meetings, and driving sales growth within designated territories, with substantial commission potential and a structured training program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and/or sales.
• Strong desire for a career in Business-to-Business/relationship-based sales.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Sense of urgency, excellent presentation skills and a high standard of character and professionalism.
• Strong propensity to learn as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as talent solutions and services subject matter expert for the territory.
• Establish target accounts and prospects using internal and external resources.
• Identify and manage new and existing customer relationships with CRM tools and networking.
• Conduct well-prepared meetings with decision makers to qualify opportunities and create value.
• Increase sales and market share within assigned and new accounts.
• Negotiate bill rates to align with market standards and maximize profitability.
• Build relationships within accounts by providing top consultants and market resumes.
