United Rentals is seeking a Sales Associate for our General Rentals team in Miami. You will start in the Sales Development Program (SDP), shadowing sales and operations to understand the end-to-end equipment-rental lifecycle and gain hands-on experience with our products.

You will work with industry experts, learn proven sales methodologies, and use our CRM and mobile tools to support customers. This role offers clear paths to an Outside Sales Representative position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in a customer-facing sales role (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Proficient computer and mobile device skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Training: must live within reasonable driving distance of assigned branch and report on-site M-F.

Responsabilités

• Begin your training at a local branch, shadowing both sales and operational roles to learn the full equipment-rental lifecycle.
• Join North America onboarding to sharpen sales technique and build internal support networks.
• Progress through outbound sales campaigns across construction verticals and customer segments.
• Master United Rentals sales tools, including CRM, inventory management platforms, customer portal, and mobile apps.
• Lead high-level sales conversations involving price negotiations and service contracts.
• Learn proven sales methodologies to deliver customer solutions and drive revenue growth.
• Participate in local team initiatives and events and track SDP progress with real-time metrics.
• Receive daily feedback from leadership meetings and ride-alongs to refine sales strategies.
