Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Berkley, MI to guide families through funeral and cemetery purchasing decisions. You will build a strong customer pipeline, manage leads in HubSpot, and collaborate with funeral home and cemetery teams to ensure a compassionate, seamless experience.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, consultative selling, and meeting performance targets in a commission-based environment. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in sales or relationship-based roles preferred.
• CRM proficiency and ability to manage leads and activities.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, and related merchandise.
• Build a pipeline via inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, and community outreach.
• Maintain relationships and track leads and sales opportunities in HubSpot CRM.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete contracts.
