Job summary

K. Hovnanian Homes in Columbus, OH is seeking a Sales Consultant to drive home sales and secure contracts. You will follow a proven sales process, follow up with prospects, and maintain our sales database.

Excellent communication and a willingness to work weekends/holidays are essential. A valid driver’s license is required and prior homebuilding exposure is not mandatory. Our team provides professional support and extensive benefits, including health coverage, mortgage and appliance discounts,

Our Sales Consultants will learn all products, sell homes and secure contracts. It’s a tough job, but it’s the right job if you want to work hard, are coachable and not afraid to work weekends and some holidays. In addition, you will follow up with prospective customers, maintain the sales database, present products to customers and shop the area competition.

No new homes sales experience required. A proven track record of two (2) successful years of sales experience highly preferred. The ability to provide the highest level of customer service, including exceptional communication skills -- both one-on-one and in front of large groups, is a must. Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
