Job summary

Paul Miller Honda in West Caldwell, NJ is seeking a motivated BDC/customer service representative to join our award-winning team. You will respond to customer inquiries via email and phone, schedule service and sales appointments, and help drive customer satisfaction through proactive follow-up.

Candidates should have at least one year of BDC experience, a HS diploma, and a strong work ethic. Spanish bilingual is a plus; we value reliability and teamwork in a fast-paced dealership setting.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer internet inquiries by email and phone.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing calls and emails.
• Engage contacts via e-leads, service, follow-up and lead generation.
• Prospect follow-up calls and schedule appointments.
• Gauage customer satisfaction and drive dealership visits.
• Schedule sales/service appointments and reschedule no-shows.
• Contact customers about current marketing incentives.
• Collaborate with dealership departments to fulfill needs.

Responsibilities

• Must be available to work nights and Saturday’s.
• Able to work cohesively in a team environment while also striving individually.
• Utilize strong communication skills to answer customer internet inquiries by both email and phone.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails.
• Handle our customer contacts through e-leads, service, follow-up and lead generations.
• Prospect follow-up calls, set appointments for service and sales, and gauge customer satisfaction.
• Schedule sales/service appointments and reschedule no-show customers.
• Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
• Follow up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership.
• Exhibit ethical behavior, provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction and be honest in all aspects of dealing with customers.
• Interacting with customers as well as members of all dealership departments.

Qualifications

• At least one year of BDC experience
• HS/GED Diploma
• Possess qualities to be a motivated, self- starter, and success driven individual to reach both individual and collective goals
• Multi-Lingual or Spanish speaking a plus
• Able to follow directions and be receptive to feedback
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities
