Job summary

B&G Foods Inc. seeks a Sales Analytics support role to develop and maintain reporting systems for the Sales team. You will create canned and ADHOC reports, analyze data for actionable insights, and support opportunities for improvement across store-level performance and pricing.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience, a bachelor’s degree, and proficiency in MS Office. Strong time management and project management skills are expected, with use of Nielsen & Circana tools to inform

1 year of experience or internship acceptable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
Strong time management and organizational skills.
Solid project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

Create canned and ADHOC sales reports as required by the business.
Conduct store mapping analysis and provide insights for gap-fill and distribution.
Identify profitable store-level display opportunities using syndicated and POS data.
Monitor store performance and inventory to minimize deductions, returns, or markdowns.
Provide retail pricing analysis and recommendations based on competitive items.
Maintain internal price lists for retailers.
Build and maintain reports in systems per business need.
Use Nielsen and Circana tools with Category team for market research.
