Job summary

Alamance Foods, Inc. is seeking a Sales Analyst to design and maintain analytic dashboards and reports using Power BI for sales and operations.

The role involves extracting data from NIQ, Numerator, Scintilla, and other sources to analyze category performance and market trends. The ideal candidate will consolidate diverse data sources, identify growth opportunities, and deliver PDF reports and presentations to sales teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a closely related field.
• Knowledge of querying and retrieving data from databases and cleaning and structuring datasets for accurate dashboard reporting.
• Knowledge of processing large volumes of business data, validating data inputs, and identifying performance trends and patterns.
• Proficient in Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Python (Jupyter Notebooks), Microsoft Excel, and Power Query.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain analytical dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI to support sales and sales operations decision-making.
• Extract, integrate, and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources, including NIQ (NielsenIQ), Numerator, Scintilla (Walmart data), and other category management platforms.
• Consolidate diverse data sources to conduct line reviews and category performance analyses, providing insights into market demand, customer behavior, and sales trends.
• Generate data-driven recommendations to support business growth initiatives.
• Develop customized dashboards and detailed reporting materials, including PDF documentation, for sales teams to support product performance evaluation, identification of growth opportunities, and customer presentations.
