Job summary

24hr-Safety is seeking a training specialist to develop and conduct product training programs for employees. The role involves coordinating schedules with hiring and customer demands, formulating teaching outlines, selecting instructional methods and aids, and delivering on-the-job and refresher trainings.

The trainer will test and monitor trainee progress, maintain records, and collaborate with internal customers to improve course materials and receive feedback.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years medical surveillance training experience.
• Experience training CPR/respiratory protection, Fit-Testing, PFT and/or MEQ.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations for industrial training.
• Current TWIC card holder a plus.
• Clean driving record and ability to drive company vehicle.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Confer with management and employees to identify training needs and policy changes.
• Coordinate training schedule with hiring and customer demands.
• Develop teaching outlines and select instructional methods and aids.
• Conduct training sessions including on-the-job and refresher training.
• Test trainees to measure progress and training effectiveness.
• Maintain trainee records and report progress to supervisors.
• Assist employees with task-specific training issues and questions.
• Suggest improvements to work procedures.
