Job summary

24hr-Safety in the United States is seeking a Trainer to develop and conduct product training programs for employees. The role involves coordinating schedules with management and customers, formulating teaching outlines, and selecting effective training aids.

You will lead on-the-job and refresher sessions, assess trainee progress, maintain records, and partner with internal customers to improve course materials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Two+ years of medical surveillance training experience.
• Experience training CPR/respiratory protection, Fit-Testing, PFT and/or MEQ.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations for industrial training.
• Strong computer and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and valid driving record.

Responsibilities

• Confer with management, supervisors, and employees to identify training needs and understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, and technologies.
• Coordinate training schedule with hiring and training demands of 24hr-Safety and customers.
• Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops.
• Select or develop teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
• Conduct training sessions covering on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
• Test trainees to measure progress and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Report on progress of employees under guidance during training periods.
• Assist employees with problems concerning how to perform tasks related to their positions.
• Make suggestions for improving work procedures.
• Maintain trainee personnel records.
• Develop strong relationships with internal customers to develop course materials and receive feedback.
• Additional duties as assigned.
